Replacement AC power safety capacitor used to suppress the voltage spike when the Dual turntable is powered on. Compatible with many Dual turntable models. Specs are .01 uf 275 VAC X2 type. The original suppression safety capacitor on many vintage Dual models has failed as evidenced by the case splitting open and of course the loud pop heard through the audio system speakers when the turntable is powered on and off. Replacement is straight forward with basic soldering skills required.
