Set of 4 Cardas Headshell Leads Don’t be fooled by low priced headshell wires, we custom make these in Tucson AZ using the very best Cardas 33 AWG Litz OFC copper tone arm wire, Cardas PCC EG gold plated on brass cartridge tags and Cardas ultra pure Quad Eutectic Solder. These will produce the very best sound from your system! These are standard length about 6 cm tip to tip but if you require longer let me know, I can make them for you. This listing is for a set of 4 headshell leads. Most tone arms come with very cheap headshell wire, cheap tags and leaded solder which does nothing but degrade the sound so a simple upgrade to these will most certainly be a major upgrade. I’m offering from a smoke free environment, this high quality, new Cardas Litz Tonearm wire set. This Cardas multi-strand wire is composed of their finest ultra pure, oxygen free copper, and it is insulated with PTFE. All components are RoHS Compliant lead free materials. Each individual strand in a single multi strand conductor is coated with enamel which must be removed for tinning. Consideration should also be given on how you will remove the PTFE insulation before your purchase. I have longer continuous lengths, listed, or sets available if you are interested for practice in stripping, or you require a longer lengths. This Cardas 33 AWG wire comes in four color coded twisted wires: Red (right positive), White (left positive), Green (right ground) and Blue (left ground). I have a small price of masking tape on each end of the wire set to keep it from unraveling. There are no connectors or clips on either end of the wires. This Cardus wire set will be a minimum of 13 inches or 33.02 cm long. Longer Cardas wire sets are listed in my store, and more variations will be added. ADVANTAGES: PTFE Insulation has an extremely low coefficient of friction, meaning that it moves freely through the twists, and turns, within, and required by cycling of the tonearm. 5 Cartridge Clips Connectors 4 Sleeves For TONEARM Wire Turntable Record Player

The cartridge with the shrink tube installed on a clip and shown in the gallery photo is for illustration only and is not included in this listing. I find it best to slide the shrink tube over the wire and then solder the wire in the the cup just below the crimp area of the tube with as little solder as possible. Crimp the wire over the insulation on the wire and slide the shrink tube over the clip and heat shrink it onto the clip. Caution: Using too much solder wont allow you to slide the the tube over the clip. You can also shorten the clip if desired by breaking off the crimp portion leaving the cup, and repeating the above. The clips are .587 inches or 1.490 cm long and the contact area of the clips are flashed gold over nickel and have a contact resistance of .01 ohms. All components are RoHS Compliant lead free materials. *Compression type clips will fit all modern round cartridge pins sizes: .050 inches / 1.27 mm nominal, and will also fit round cartridge pins from .0492 inches / 1.20 mm to .0531 inches / 1.35 mm The lengths of shrink tube, Red, White, Blue, and Green, is approximately 13/16 inches or 2.06 cm long.
