SME MkV tonearm recently upgraded
SME MkV magnesium tonearm. This top-of-the-line tonearm was recently refurbished and upgraded with new ball bearings and silver Litz wire by SME Canada. The upagrade itself was almost the current asking price. As in many old MkVs, the tonearm lift gets stuck and requires manual over-ride. This can be fixed but is extremely expensive to do. This asking price is a great value for one of the great tonearms at any price.
