The 192-VN45HE SAS/S is not a genuine stylus manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). It is an alternative stylus manufactured to SAS specifications based on the OEM stylus specifications. This product is a JICO original model featuring a sapphire cantilever. It differs from the SAS/B and SAS/R models. This alternative stylus (replacement stylus) is the “SAS tip” and “sapphire cantilever” type. JICO’s proprietary SAS series (Super Analog Stylus) record needles achieve a line contact between the stylus tip and the groove through a special tip shape, simultaneously reducing friction between the groove and the stylus tip—fulfilling two seemingly contradictory conditions.
