A pair of hinges already assembled. (See photos). The lid remains open just before the vertical due to a limit switch placed at about 82°/85°. A simple study of the center of gravity and the point of maximum opening prevents the lid from closing “by itself” involuntarily, not even under “unfortunate” knocks.
