This is Michell’s latest 3-POINT VTA Adjuster for Rega RB110, RB220, RB330, RB880 and RB2000 tonearms and OEM variants. It also Fits Michell’s T2 and T3 tonearms. The added thickness of this VTA adjuster will raise the arm a minimum of 2 mm giving a lift range of 2 mm to 3.5 mm. Adding the 3 supplied 2.5 mm high spacers will give a range of 4.5 mm – 6 mm. It will NOT fit the earlier RB100, RB101, RB201, RB202, RB251, RB301 or RB303 Rega tonearms or variants (OEM202, OEM303. See the listing for Michell VTA-2 for those earlier 3-point mount models. Simply install the Michell VTA Adjustment Base between your tonearm and arm mounting board for infinite vertical tracking angle adjustments. NOTE: The Michell VTA adjuster, at its’ minimum setting, raises the tone arm by 2 mm over standard. If your tonearm is already at the correct height or too high for correct VTA BEFORE installing the Michell VTA adjuster, and no shims are currently installed, the arm will be too high with this VTA adjuster installed, even at its minimum setting. If there is no provision for lowering the tonearm mounting board or machining a 2mm recess in the top of the arm’s mounting board, this Michell VTA adjuster should not be utilized. To raise the rear of the tonearm, loosen the 3 tonearm securing screws and rotate the notched adjustment ring clockwise to raise the arm. Turn the opposite way to lower. Then re-tighten the 3 securing screws. For Michell Gyro or Orbe models, a set of 3 shorter (10mm vs 12mm) de-couplers are included.
