I am offering from a smoke free environment, this high quality, new Cardas tonearm wire set. This Cardas multi-strand wire is composed of their finest ultra pure, oxygen free copper, and it is insulated with PTFE. All components are RoHS Compliant lead free materials. Each individual strand in a single multi strand conductor is coated with enamel which must be removed for tinning. Consideration should also be given on how you will remove the PTFE insulation before your purchase. I have longer continuous lengths, listed, or sets available if you are interested for practice in stripping, or you require a longer lengths. This Cardas 33 AWG wire comes in four color coded twisted wires: Red (right positive), White (left positive), Green (right ground) and Blue (left ground). I have a small piece of painters tape on each end of the wire set to keep it from unraveling. Also included in this kit is a 33AWG Served natural color Litz wire which can be used for ground if needed. This wire has a nylon wrap for strength, and each of the inner strands is insulated with polyester film. The overall diameter of this Litz wire is .012 inches or .3048 mm. There are no connectors or clips on either end of the wires. This Cardus wire set will be a minimum of 13 inches or 33.02 cm long. I find it best to slide the shrink tube over each wire and then solder the wire in the the cup just below the crimp area of the tube with as little solder as possible. Crimp the wire over the insulation on the wire and slide the shrink tube over the clip and heat shrink it onto the clip. Caution: Using too much solder wont allow you to slide the the tube over the clip. You can also shorten the clip if desired by breaking off the crimp portion leaving the cup, and repeating the above.
