Our arm rest has the same dimensions as the original. We also carefully designed the cradle to keep the tone arm secure. Our design is stylish while preserving the Acoustic Research look. Our arm rest sits flush on the top plate with the aid of an offset boss. It is secured with a screw and washer in the pre-drilled/tapped hole which is stronger than the original threaded stem/nut configuration.
